The PTA organised a great pumpkin carving competition for the classes. Our pictures show our talented carvers and our final product Jimmy. Unfortunately, he's not feeling too well!! Thanks so much to the PTA for supplying the pumpkin.

Well done to our four fantastic athletes who represented our class and our school so well in the city and county cross country running competitions. We're very proud of you all!

Galway Inter-county footballer Johnny Heaney has been helping us with our gaelic football skills over the last few weeks. Here's hoping it stands to us in our Cumann na mBunscoil tournaments next spring! 

Zeeko will conducting talks on internet safety and cyber bullying for both parents and children in Merlin Woods. This is an extremely important and topical issue. Please attend a parents meeting with Zeeko on Thursday 10th of October either from 8.40am - 9.40am or from 7pm to 8pm in Merlin Woods Primary School. 

Well done to the hurlers, camogie players and footballers from our class who represented the school so well in the last few weeks. Keep up the good work!!

Congratulations to Dumebi, our newly elected representative for the Student Council this year. We're sure he'll do a fantastic job!
